(More customer reviews)I bought three protectors for my new Samsung Vibrant Galaxy S phone (for only a penny, why not) and I'm glad I did.
This is a poor design for a screen protector.
First, if you look at the picture, you will notice there are two stickers; one for initially placing the protector, the second for after the protector is placed on the phone.
The problem is, the sticker is on the bottom of the protector. When you are trying to line the protector up on the phone, you want to use the indents and notches so the protector is aligned properly. You can't properly align the protector when you are pulling the film from the bottom.
The second problem with this protector is the length. It is not the full length of the phone. This makes lining the protector up MUCH more difficult. This protector is designed to leave the four buttons on the bottom of the phone unprotected.
The third problem is the film used to protect the protector. It is very thick and therefore difficult to bend when trying to place the protector on the phone. Ideally you want to only peal back a small portion of the film and place the protector on the screen. Then using a card (DL, credit card, etc) you want to work out any bubbles and then, while pulling the film back, lay the protector down against the screen using the card and you get no bubbles. You can't do that with the film on this protector, its too thick or stiff.
The fourth problem is the plastic that was used in designing this protector. It has many imperfections so there were a boatload of air bubbles that I simply could not get out.
After struggling with this for quite some time, I simply pulled the protector off and promply threw it in the trash. It's really not worth the struggle; not when there are better protectors available.
You do get what you pay for when it comes to these types of items.
