(More customer reviews)This product is easier to apply than the non-privacy screen protectors, and also easier to remove the bubbles from during application (though I still had a couple of tiny ones). It appears durable, will definitely protect your screen, but does pick up fingerprints and smudges (though no more so than other screen protectors).
The privacy feature works very well--so well that you cannot see the screen at all even from a slight angle.
So why did I give it only four stars? Because I agree with another review that the screen does appear pixilated with this protector on, and also seems to lose some of its brightness.
Bottom line: This works well at protecting your screen and providing privacy, but the trade off is a less visually appealing screen. However, I have become used to the screen appearance and like the way that this protector works. It is easy to clean, and unlike my last screen protector, does not collect dust around the edges. I am not sorry that I installed it.
Update Sept. 24, 2010: I still have the same protector on, and it still has not collected dust around the edges like so many other protectors that I have tried. As for screen appearance, to me the pixilated appearance has become normal, and in no way interferes with web browsing, reading emails, or reading documents. I would definitely recommend this screen protector even if it did not have the privacy feature because it is durable and has performed so well.
Update Feb. 9, 2011: One year later I still have the same protector on, and it is working fine. I had no idea that it would be this durable and still not collect dust around the edges.
